Directions
An Ahi Tuna situation is ALWAYS a good situation! This recipe is super easy, tasty and refreshing! If you love sushi, do yourself a favor and get into this.
**COOKING HACK**
Two things that will set you up for success:
Put tuna steaks in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to make them stiffer and easier to slice thinly.
ALSO, get your good knives sharpened professionally twice a year and use a honing rod before use each time. Thank me later 😉
Combine olive oil, citrus zest, citrus juice, and caper juice in a medium bowl. Pour some of the vinaigrette in a plate with raised sides, and set the rest aside.
Thinly slice your fish and arrange then in the vinaigrette.
Top with cucumber slices, capers, sesame seeds and more vinaigrette.
You can let sit for about 10 minutes to let the flavors soak in, but you will want to serve mostly immediately!
